6/18/2023 0 Comments Best setup for void hunters![]() Essentially we’re going to turn you into a never-ending beam of overpowered icy death. We like to keep it simple, and fortunately, the new Ager’s Scepter exotic weapon introduced in Season of the Lost makes things pretty straightforward. The first new elemental class since the launch of the original Destiny and, of course, the first Darkness class in Destiny 2, Stasis is wildly powerful, but build guides for the new subclass can be overwhelming thanks to the number of variables and possible interactions. And if you have all the mods and weapons, then boy howdy, you are in for some fun. Then just focus on shooting them and enjoy the benefits. Pull even half of those elements together and you will have Warmind Cells popping regularly. Why all the solar? Because if and when you secure the coveted Wrath of Rasputin armor mod, solar splash damage final blows will add another chance to create Warmind Cells. ![]() Using one of the solar subclasses is also a good idea. What about the power weapon slot? Well, if you have it, then the Xenophage exotic solar machinegun is ideal for rounding out this build, but a solar rocket launcher would be good too. Each Seventh Seraph weapon has the innate potential to spawn a Warmind Cell upon landing a kill, so using them for primary and secondary weapons is a good look. These are common legendaries nowadays, and you probably have a few sitting in your Vault. The next thing you need is Seventh Seraph weapons. (Beware that some of these mods are element-specific, so you may need to change an armor piece to Solar or whatever to be able to apply them.) Fireteam Medic even heals your fireteam slightly when a Cell explodes. Global Reach is great because it increases the distance at which enemies are impacted by Warmind Cells - it becomes common to see damage numbers appearing randomly at the corner of your screen because a bunch of distant unseen enemies have succumbed as well! Then there’s Burning Cells, which adds a burn effect to any enemies left standing after the initial explosion. There are too many Warmind Cell mods to list, but there are a few we really like. The chances are you have a few already, but if not then you need to keep an eye on the Gunsmith’s inventory over the next few weeks until they cycle into view. The main thing you need for this build is Warmind Cell mods. Before long you will be bouncing through Strikes popping Cells every few seconds and wondering why you ever played the game any other way. The idea behind this build is to equip mods and weapons that increase the number of explosive Warmind Cells that spawn and amplify their effects. You know when you’re running around Destiny 2 with other players and big orange beach-ball-looking things spawn out of enemies and then explode? Those are Warmind Cells. Warmind Cells are just so cool that we want to encourage every player to play with them! We’ve put this in the Hunter guide, but it’s actually fairly class-agnostic. Sixth Coyote is a random drop from exotic engrams, and sometimes Xur sells it, so keep your eye out if it isn’t in your Vault already.Īnd that’s it! The rest of the build is up to you, but using mods to increase mobility will bring down the recharge time of your smoke bomb, so if you run out of dodges, you won’t have to wait long for another smoke bomb anyway. Now you’re really off to the races - or at least off to skulk under some rocks until the nasty space wizards lose track of you. To take it to the next level, you really want the Sixth Coyote exotic chest armor, which gives you a second dodge. With this setup, you can throw smoke, dodge to recharge it, then smoke again. This is the basic setup and you don’t need any other mods or special items to benefit from it. ![]() It doesn’t matter which jump or grenade you choose on the left, but make sure you opt for Gambler’s Dodge, which recharges your melee ability - the smoke bomb - whenever you dodge. Navigate to the Void subclass page and select the Way of the Pathfinder skill grouping (bottom-most option). All of which gives you ample time to find a safe spot and wait for your health to recover. You can then throw another smoke bomb when the first wears off in order to remain invisible, and if you have the right exotic armor piece, you have a spare dodge available after that to recharge it again. With the correct tools equipped, you just throw your invisibility smoke bomb at the floor, and then do a quick dodge-roll next to some enemies to immediately recharge it. Whenever your life is threatened, you can throw a bunch of invisibility smoke bombs in quick succession to move out of the firing line and plan your next move. ![]() Our go-to build for most casual solo activities, the Perma-Hiding Pathfinder’s great strength is survivability.
