6/21/2023 0 Comments Firefox for mac 10.5 8At least FF and Safari run but there are some sites I visit that don't work well with those old versions and the new versions can't be installed on 10.5.8. I think there are later parches around now. Firefox, Chrome and Safari don't seems to want to support 10.5.8. If you experience any compatibility issues with Firefox for Mac, consider downloading one of the older versions of Firefox. Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work. Safari 5 is available for both Mac OS X and Windows as a free download at Safari 5 for Mac OS X requires Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8 or Mac. Download Old Versions of Firefox: 65.0.2 - 52.0.2 - 48.0.2. but you will need to make sure you also do any and all updates you can find here at the 'App Store' for instance Quicktime up to 7.7 and then you also need to make sure you update flash player (on your own) to make sure it works properly. (If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, contributor Texas Mac Man suggests the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the latest version:)Äownload this to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). i recommend Firefox myself as it is what i use. The last really supported Flash for PPC was 10.1.102.64, but if it's for like Facebook or such, people have been fooling FB to think they have a leter version installed. There might be a workaround for Flash anyway.
